The Journey of Paul

I have been reading a lot about the life of Paul this week. Wow...what a man that loved the Lord.  So much can be taken from his story.  That no matter what we have done in our life, we have a forgiving God that not only forgave, but USED Paul MIGHTILY!  So exciting to know that we too can be used MIGHTILY!

I'm also struck by the fact that no matter what Paul KNEW was ahead of him, he pressed forward for the cause of Christ.  He wasn't ashamed!  I want to be a modern day Paul.  A world changer. How about you?

    Paul was a true believer of Christ and was willing to do and go through anything to share the Word to anyone who would listen. I am so thankful God chose him to teach the way to salvation. He never wavered. Love your blog. Blessings.

The Light At The End Of The Tunnel

T hrough a season of heartache, mistakes, transition, and loss it has been more than difficult to focus on the Kingdom. When I prayed at the beginning of the year for what God had for me to do this year He gave me Matthew 6:33. One Plants.....

"6 I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.   7  It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.   8  The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work.   9  For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building" (1 Corinthians 3:6-9)      My pastor preached about our purpose today.  It was an amazing message. Some of what he said made me take notice of some of the people around me in church. His Grace is Enough

So a friend of mine and I were talking one day as we ran into each other at the store.  She was a little upset about some recent events in her home.  During the course of our conversation....somehow it strangely came around to God's grace.  She admitted to me that she really didn't understand what that meant exactly.  I had to admit at one time as a  new Christian I also really understand what His "grace" was either.  I told her what I knew to let her digest that, but told her I would email her some information after I did some study.  I found this short couple of statements via http://www.acts17-11.com/mercy.html.
